My Tea Party

The illustrations for this book are fabulous!  They are so feminine and are perfect for any little girl who likes tea parties and dressing up.

In the story, an adult (Mommy, Grandma, Aunt, etc.) tells the story about Queen Victoria's first tea party.  Your child asks if she can have a tea party and invite her friends.  The adult helps the child plan her menu and send out the invitations.

After decorating the room, the adult helper surprises your child and her friends by bringing out a large box of dress up clothes!  When the children are properly "attired", the adult teaches them the proper way to make tea and watercress sandwiches so that they can all enjoy their afternoon tea.

A list of table manners is included at the end of the book to help your child become a proper little lady.
